• STX 1203 M composed of 5 major parts, one disc holder trolley, one main bridge, two side bridges four columns and one block trolley Disc holder trolley is made of cast iron so it has heavy and very strong structure. Sliding surface that obtain the movement of the disc trolley on the main bridge are manufactured as double V shaped prism and the disc trolleys sliding surfaces that move on the bridge are made of a special bronze alloy. The complete system operates in oil bath. The disc holder motion on the bridge is driven by a special motor-reducer group and cutting speed is controlled by an electronic frequency inverter. The main bridge is made of extremely wear resistant alloyed cast iron zero clearance in the V shaped guides, to provide continuous precise forced contact between disc trolley and the main bridge so STX 1203 M gives perfect cutting performances. The machine is mounted on steel beam that are placed on four cast iron columns the vertical movement of the bridge driven by four precision screws that are protected inside of the columns. The block trolley is made of electro welded steel and it moves through electrical motor on the rails. All the electrical components are Telemecanique.<br /><br />
